Production Planning and Scheduling Coordinator

As a Production Planning & Scheduling Coordinator, you will maintain daily and weekly schedules to meet or exceed fill rate and overall production goals in the manufacturing facility. You will play a critical role in managing relationships with vendors, carriers, and other factories to successfully monitor inventory levels and analyze material usage for improving processes. You will also order supplies, coordinate with other departments, and assist with ordering packaging materials for the facility.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 6 months of experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, military, or related environment
Responsibilities
- Maintain daily and weekly schedules to meet or exceed fill rate and overall production goals in the manufacturing facility.
- Manage relationships with vendors, carriers, and other factories to successfully monitor inventory levels.
- Analyze material usage for improving processes.
- Order supplies.
- Coordinate with other departments.
- Assist with ordering packaging materials for the facility.
- Review planning reports daily and identify ordering requirements.
- Promptly place orders with vendors to ensure timely delivery of supplies.
- Verify accuracy of completed receiving documents and confirm correct quantities for inventory tracking.
- Continuously monitor and follow-up on in-transit shipments.
