As a Production Planning Analyst at 3M, you will collaborate with innovative 3Mers globally. This role offers an opportunity to transition from various professional backgrounds into a 3M career. The position involves strong communication with Production Planning, Lean Value Stream, and Operations Team members, active participation in the Tier process, and close collaboration with the business to understand customer requirements and forecasts. You will also work with manufacturing teams, value stream leadership, and Supply Planners to resolve supply constraints, balancing service, inventory, and cost. Key aspects include optimizing production parameters, managing capacity, and maintaining inventory targets. You will execute standard production planning work using supply chain tools and IT systems, provide planning analysis for data-driven decisions, and lead or participate in Continuous Improvement projects to enhance customer service, inventory investment, flow, and supply chain efficiency.
