As a Production Planning Analyst at 3M, you will collaborate with innovative 3Mers globally, contributing to the planning and scheduling of production work centers. This role involves monitoring work center output to meet customer requirements and improve operational efficiency. You will work closely with business, manufacturing, value stream leadership, and Supply Planners to understand customer needs, resolve supply constraints, and balance service, inventory, and cost targets. Key responsibilities include optimizing production parameters, managing capacity, and maintaining inventory compliance. The position requires executing standard production planning work using supply chain tools and IT systems, providing high-degree planning analysis for data-driven decisions, and leading or participating in Continuous Improvement projects to enhance customer service, inventory investment, flow, and supply chain efficiency.
