About The Position

The Production Planner is a temporary position for up to approximately six months, employed and paid through a staffing agency. The role ensures 100 percent on-time delivery of products to finished goods by AE’s committed shipment date. It improves the company’s ability to meet customer delivery requirements by understanding business-unit capacity, identifying constraints, and actively reducing product lead times and availability issues. The role also minimizes investment in raw and finished material inventory where appropriate. The Production Planner plans, schedules, coordinates, and monitors products through the production cycle; aligns materials with production schedules; and works across management, marketing, sales, production, engineering, and purchasing to resolve schedule interruptions and material constraints. The role supports production control activities, coordinates Engineering Change Orders in production, and develops supply solutions for long-lead-time parts. The position is based in Vancouver, Washington, in a manufacturing environment that may be noisy and fast-paced. Tasks may involve repetitive motion and the use of electronic assembly equipment.
