About The Position

The Production Planner is responsible for planning, coordination, and scheduling production in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role requires accurate calculations, strong mathematical skills, and the ability to implement strategies effectively. The planner must be able to work accurately and methodically under pressure, while also instilling confidence and motivating others.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in Material Management or similar degree.
• 3+ years' experience in planning, coordination, and scheduling production in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, spoken).
• Ability to convey instructions clearly and with confidence.
• Ability to solve practical problems and apply strong planning and organization skills to daily scheduling and material variances.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Strong knowledge of SAP (PP, MM) or similar ERP (Oracle) required.
• Skills in mathematics are needed to implement strategies.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work, set targets and make decisions.
• Ability to work accurately and methodically under pressure.
• Ability to instill confidence and motivate others to take action.

Nice To Haves

• APICS certification is considered an asset.
