About The Position

The Production Planner is responsible for scheduling and coordinating the flow of materials between production stages in producing Ichor products. This role involves reviewing production schedules to anticipate required materials, equipment, and supplies, and providing input to management regarding potential schedule interruptions. The planner will manage WIP variances at the work order level and work with manufacturing production and stores to ensure timely and accurate material management. They will also manage change activity to WIP jobs at the work order level and work independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements

Knowledge of operating and scheduling procedures and processes
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
Solid knowledge of MRP, Oracle and Agile systems
Ability to sit for prolonged periods and occasionally walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs.
3-5+ years production planning, scheduling or related work experience
A.A. Degree or equivalent experience, or any combination of education and experience
Advanced experience using MRP, Oracle and Agile systems
