Requirements

Associate/Bachelor's Degree in related field
one to three years planning experience
APICS Certification and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Planning, Scheduling, and coordinating production to meet the customer demand outlined in MRP using planning parameters.
Review and update planning parameters in alignment with changes of demand, utilizing capacity, while accommodating inventory goals.
Revises schedules and issues work orders to suit order changes, cancellations and/or revised forecasts.
Determines revised plan in the event of failures to meet schedules.
Notifies customer service in the event of failures in meeting shipping schedules.
Researches late parts, identifies and brings bottlenecks to manufacturing's attention.
Works closely with engineering and customer service to implement engineering changes and monitors structure (bill of material) problems.
Works closely with Master Scheduling to ensure all master plans are maintained and executed.
Expedites, as needed, any late deliveries from outside vendors, sub-contract, etc.
Analyzes production data to find ways to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize costs
