Production Planner
About The Position
Aegis is partnered with a global industrial machinery manufacturer that designs and builds highly engineered production equipment serving multiple industries including industrial, transportation, medical, and energy markets. This organization operates with strong international collaboration and continues to grow due to steady project demand and expansion of manufacturing operations. They are seeking a Production Planner to support daily scheduling, inventory coordination, and cross-functional production planning activities. This is a highly visible role reporting directly to senior leadership and offers exposure to the full manufacturing lifecycle.
Requirements
- 1–3 years production planning or scheduling experience in manufacturing
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems
- Strong Excel and data tracking skills
- Experience coordinating production schedules and inventory
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Stable work history
Responsibilities
- Create and manage daily and weekly production schedules
- Release and track manufacturing orders within ERP/MRP systems
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate material availability
- Communicate production delays or scheduling conflicts to internal stakeholders
- Analyze production performance metrics such as efficiency, scrap, and output
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement recovery plans
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, purchasing, sales, and shipping teams
- Generate production planning reports and support continuous improvement initiatives
