About The Position

The Production Planner is responsible for developing and managing production schedules to ensure efficient operations while meeting customer demand. This role works closely with manufacturing, supply chain, and customer-facing teams to balance capacity, materials, and timelines in a fast-paced production environment.

Requirements

• Strong computer and data entry skills, including experience with word processing systems
• Effective communication skills with internal teams, vendors, and customers
• Comfortable presenting information and speaking with cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects at the same time
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes or production environments
• Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive

Responsibilities

• Create and adjust production schedules based on machine capacity, materials, and resources
• Ensure alignment of cylinders, inks, and substrates to meet production needs
• Coordinate internal and external material flow
• Maintain and monitor inventory control systems and procedures
• Communicate with vendors, customers, sales teams, and plant personnel regarding materials and shipments
• Support on-time delivery and customer expectations through proactive planning
• Complete special projects and assignments as directed
