Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in production planning, materials planning, or supply chain roles within a manufacturing environment and hands-on experience planning and controlling production orders from release through completion.
  • Strong SAP experience required (PP/MM modules preferred), including creation, release, tracking, and closing of production orders.
  • Solid understanding of MRP, BOMs, routings, lead times, and production scheduling principles.
  • Proficiency with Excel and data analysis tools to monitor performance, identify trends, and support decision-making.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills, with experience acting as a key interface between Sales, Procurement, Warehouse, and Production.
  • Confident in presenting planning constraints, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and controlling production orders in SAP/R3 from release to completion.
  • Coordinating material availability with procurement, warehouse, and the operational production teams.
  • Monitoring production progress and adjust schedules to avoid bottlenecks.
  • Accurately maintaining material master data and ensure data quality to guarantee planning reliability.
  • Acting as the key interface between sales, procurement, and production to ensure smooth alignment across departments.
  • Analyzing capacity and workloads to support both daily scheduling and long-term strategies.
  • Driving continuous improvements in our production planning processes with a focus on optimization.
  • Other duties as assigned.
