About The Position

We're looking for a detail-oriented Production Planner to coordinate production schedules, balance customer demand, and ensure materials, resources, and production activities are aligned for on-time delivery. In this role, you'll collaborate with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality to optimize production flow, solve scheduling challenges, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

3-5 years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, production schedules, and bills of materials.
Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to safely navigate a manufacturing environment.
Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
Attendance on a regular, consistent basis is mandatory.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing efficiency, inventory levels, and production costs.
Review customer orders, contract specifications, drawings, and project documentation to determine production requirements.
Coordinate production activities across departments and revise schedules as needed due to engineering changes, material shortages, work backlogs, or shifting priorities.
Partner closely with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality to ensure smooth production flow and timely project completion.
Analyze production data, identify trends and improvement opportunities, and prepare reports to support operational performance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
