Requirements

  • Proven experience in production planning and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Understanding of advanced planning techniques and MRP.
  • Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems; working knowledge of SAP MM is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of production planning and scheduling.
  • Experience in decision making and crisis management.
  • Great communication skills to interact with team members and upper management.
  • Knowledgeable of manufacturing safety protocols and regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • working knowledge of SAP MM is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage production planning activities to maximize the use of the organization's resources and meet established production specifications and schedules.
  • Monitor material inventories, track progress of production, and review factors which affect schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Coordinate and plan production priorities, workflow, and schedule.
  • Maintain and update the production schedule in line with changes in customer demand or internal interruptions.
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production teams to understand customer requirements and product specifications.
  • Identify bottlenecks in operation processes and find possible solutions to maximize efficiency.
  • Review production plans to identify and report potential risks to management.
  • Work with the procurement team to maintain the inventory level and ensure that materials are available for production as required.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining operational reports and records such as production costs, production rates, tool consumption, and labor hours.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality control standards.
  • Communicate production status updates to stakeholders and management.
  • Develop strategies to improve the efficiency of production and workflow.
  • Analyze current production performance and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Plan workforce utilization, space requirements, and equipment layouts to optimize production efficiency.
  • Support new product introduction to production including planning for raw materials and production ramp up.
