About The Position

This role is responsible for creating a finalized and feasible Master Production Schedule (MPS) and Detailed Production Schedule (DPS), while coordinating buffer/supermarket stocks based on Demand Driven Materials Requirement Planning (DDMRP) principles within Industrial Production Centers (IPCs) or Late Customization Centers (LCCs) to ensure inventory availability to meet customer demand effectively, working under general supervision.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience with a vocational education in areas such as industrial, manufacturing, production engineering or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's Degree / Vocational Education in Mechanical, Electro-mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Production Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates planning-related master data management closely with Enterprise Information Management (EIM), ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout.
  • Generates realistic and achievable Detailed Production Schedule (DPS) and Master Production Schedule (MPS), complemented by a Material Requirements Plan (MRP) developed with Operational Buyers for efficient material procurement.
  • Issues production schedules to the shop floor and conducts regular planning meetings with Production/Operations Management to synchronize activities and address any concerns.
  • Initiates improvements to planning processes and relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), leveraging expertise in various planning methodologies and continuous improvement techniques.
  • Releases/manages production order and material-related issues promptly, utilizing negotiation skills and technical understanding to facilitate effective resolutions.
