About The Position

The Production Planner plans the sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations for a specific portion of a product, providing guidance to production workers. The role plans detailed operations using blueprints, engineering orders, change notices, and other engineering releases. It determines tooling needs and makes recommendations for the design and planning of required tools. The planner prepares shop work orders for materials and product processing, coordinates with schedulers to keep work aligned with specifications and time requirements, and maintains progress reports, schedules, and related records.

Requirements

Associate's degree and 3 years of relevant experience, or one of the stated equivalent combinations of education and experience.
U.S. citizenship is required for this position.

Nice To Haves

Preferred knowledge of radiography.
Ability to obtain and maintain at least a confidential DoD security clearance.
