About The Position

The Production Planner is responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining production schedules to ensure efficient manufacturing of electrical transformers. This role serves as a critical link between engineering, procurement, production, and international partners to align demand, capacity, and material availability. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations (experience in electrical or industrial equipment manufacturing strongly preferred).
  • Experience working in a made-to-order or project-based manufacturing environment.
  • Familiar with SAP.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and international teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer demand, project timelines, and capacity constraints.
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project management to align production plans with technical requirements and delivery milestones.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to address delays, material shortages, or changes in priorities.
  • Partner closely with our Italian team to ensure alignment on global production strategies, material planning, and best practices.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings with international stakeholders to support seamless communication and execution across regions.
  • Analyze production data within SAP.
  • Communicate schedule updates, risks, and constraints to leadership and relevant stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production planning process.
