About The Position

We are seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented Production Planner/Scheduler to join our team. This individual will bring 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced, high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has a background in aerospace, defense, or emerging technology sectors (e.g., Tesla, Rivian, Anduril, SpaceX) and is comfortable working in a data-driven environment. Strong expertise in ERP/MES systems, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to analyze and act on production metrics are essential.

Requirements

  • Production Planning & Scheduling
  • MRP / ERP Systems
  • Manufacturing Operations (Machining, Avionics preferred)
  • Advanced Excel (data analysis, reporting)
  • 2+ years of experience in production planning/scheduling in a high-mix, low-volume environment
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP/MES systems
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities under tight deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • SQL experience is a plus
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-tech manufacturing industries preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Production Management, or a related field (preferred, not required)

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain production schedules to optimize resource utilization and meet customer demand
  • Continuously monitor schedules and adjust based on material availability, production constraints, and shifting priorities
  • Partner cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment with production goals
  • Establish, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure production efficiency and adherence to timelines
  • Analyze production data to identify trends, forecast demand, and drive informed decision-making
  • Create and present performance reports and recommendations to leadership
  • Utilize ERP and MES systems to manage production workflows, material planning, and inventory control
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within systems through consistent monitoring and updates
  • Collaborate with IT and internal stakeholders to enhance system functionality and reporting capabilities
  • Serve as the primary liaison between production, supply chain, and other departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Lead regular meetings to communicate production plans, status updates, and issue resolution
  • Foster strong collaboration across teams to drive operational efficiency and execution
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance throughput, quality, and efficiency
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve overall productivity
  • Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to support innovation and best practices
