About The Position

We are seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented Production Planner/Scheduler to join our team. This individual will bring 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced, high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has a background in aerospace, defense, or emerging technology sectors (e.g., Tesla, Rivian, Anduril, SpaceX) and is comfortable working in a data-driven environment. Strong expertise in ERP/MES systems, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to analyze and act on production metrics are essential.

Requirements

Production Planning & Scheduling
MRP / ERP Systems
Manufacturing Operations (Machining, Avionics preferred)
Advanced Excel (data analysis, reporting)
2+ years of experience in production planning/scheduling in a high-mix, low-volume environment
Strong working knowledge of ERP/MES systems
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities under tight deadlines

Nice To Haves

SQL experience is a plus
Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-tech manufacturing industries preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Production Management, or a related field (preferred, not required)

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain production schedules to optimize resource utilization and meet customer demand
Continuously monitor schedules and adjust based on material availability, production constraints, and shifting priorities
Partner cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment with production goals
Establish, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure production efficiency and adherence to timelines
Analyze production data to identify trends, forecast demand, and drive informed decision-making
Create and present performance reports and recommendations to leadership
Utilize ERP and MES systems to manage production workflows, material planning, and inventory control
Ensure data accuracy and integrity within systems through consistent monitoring and updates
Collaborate with IT and internal stakeholders to enhance system functionality and reporting capabilities
Serve as the primary liaison between production, supply chain, and other departments to ensure seamless operations
Lead regular meetings to communicate production plans, status updates, and issue resolution
Foster strong collaboration across teams to drive operational efficiency and execution
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance throughput, quality, and efficiency
Apply lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve overall productivity
Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to support innovation and best practices
