Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or a related field
  • 2+ years of professional experience
  • 1-3 years MRP experience
  • Detailed understanding of supply chain principles
  • Thorough understanding of various production planning and inventory techniques and practices, Capacity Planning, and various forecasting techniques and their application.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and networking skills.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent partnering and team building skills.

Nice To Haves

  • CPIM certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the execution of the production schedule considering line of balance output, available capacity, material availability, and program delivery commitments.
  • Communicate manufacturing status, expected completion dates, and production cost/schedule risk analysis to business product support managers and program managers.
  • Partner with procurement, production manager, quality, engineering, program management, and other supply chain disciplines to plan, schedule, and manage development, production, and aftermarket support.
  • Manage and execute items associated with their planner code, including releasing internal jobs, releasing purchase requisitions, managing disruptions (shortages, MRB, constraints), and providing feedback to internal customers.
  • Advise management on the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems.
  • Monitor internal and external supply chain alignment, identify and resolve potential constraints, maintain line of balance, and manage purchase requests for components/parts based on master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements.
  • Participate in product Integrated Product Teams (IPT) by interfacing with internal customers, scheduling, and expediting the movement of parts.
  • Assist management in developing and executing action/workaround plans to maximize scheduled on-time completion.
  • Analyze supply and demand data to determine critical path constraints and perform product lead time analysis.
  • Manage manual demand releases, facilitate ECN/ECP changes, coordinate production cut-ins, review excess material for consumption, create material transfers, and process PO change requests.
  • Provide material updates and summaries to management and external customers.
