About The Position

Pall Corporation, a Danaher operating company and a global leader in high-tech filtration, separation, and purification, is seeking a Production Planner III. This role is responsible for developing production and supply plans that consider forecasts, material availability, and manufacturing capacity. The Production Planner will also identify and maintain appropriate planning parameters in ERP systems to optimize subassembly production and raw material supply plans. This position reports to the Production Planning Manager and is part of the Production Planning team located in Cortland, NY, and will be an on-site role. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing materials, planning, and scheduling, or an Associate degree with 5-7 years of related experience.
Continuous improvement systems and processes
Strong MS Excel skills
SAP Business System Experience

SAP Business System Experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop production schedules to provide on-time delivery of finished goods for customer orders.
Review part requirements generated by MRP or Kanban triggers and utilize Pall’s Enterprise System (SAP) to evaluate component material requirements for internal manufacturing consumption as well as external customer orders.
Release manufacturing production orders and communicate effectively with operations personnel and supervisors on the status of schedule delays, customer expedites or cancellations, and schedule attainment concerns.
Provide production lead times based on material lead times, production capacity, and capability.
Collaborate with necessary functions to determine the appropriate response to the customer or sales entity.
Controls cost, quality, schedule, inventory and health, safety & environmental activities for the location.
