About The Position

This role is responsible for managing and optimizing the production schedule to meet demand and capacity requirements. The Production Planner II will analyze supply and demand, identify potential issues, and work with various teams to ensure timely delivery and improve overall supply chain efficiency.

Requirements

• Experience in production planning or a related field.
• Familiarity with Master Production Scheduling (MPS).
• Ability to analyze supply and demand.
• Skills in identifying discrepancies and recommending corrective actions.
• Experience monitoring manufacturing performance.
• Ability to adjust plans to meet delivery commitments.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing).
• Experience in resolving scheduling issues.
• Understanding of continuous improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of supply chain efficiency and responsiveness.

Responsibilities

• Review and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to ensure alignment with demand and capacity.
• Analyze supply and demand balance, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor manufacturing performance against the schedule and adjust plans as necessary to meet delivery commitments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Engineering, and Manufacturing to resolve scheduling issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and responsiveness.
