About The Position
The Production Planner/Scheduler helps ensure products move from production to customers by keeping inventory available at the right time. The role balances customer demand, production capacity, and inventory levels while supporting operational efficiency. It works cross-functionally with supply chain, production, and customer teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in supply chain, production planning, scheduling, or a related manufacturing function.
- Experience using ERP, MRP, MPS, WMS, or similar manufacturing planning systems.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the beverage, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or alcohol industry.
- Knowledge of import/export regulations and integrated planning or forecasting systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and inventory targets.
- Coordinate with production, supply chain, and customer teams to balance service levels, inventory, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and planning metrics to support business goals while minimizing carrying costs.
- Manage and communicate production priorities, supporting successful execution of new products and key initiatives.
- Ensure planning activities comply with company, safety, and regulatory requirements.
