About The Position

Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking Experienced Production Pilots to join the Production Flight Test organization in North Charleston, SC. Primary responsibility will be to conduct initial and follow-on production flights and customer demonstration flights on newly manufactured 787 (in Charleston) airplanes. Successful candidates can expect travel and flights domestically and internationally in support of the production system as well as post-production activity via CFR 91 & 125.

Requirements

Meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
2,000 or more flight hours
2,000 or more hours of instructor flight time
2,000 or more hours In Transport Category Aircraft as a Pilot in Command
Ability to obtain an FAA First Class Medical certificate
Commercial Certificate or FAA ATP with appropriate endorsements or military equivalent

Responsibilities

Plans and conducts production and acceptance test flights
Demonstrates or leads the production acceptance process
Identifies and documents flight deficiencies and coordinates resolution
Plans, coordinates and conducts ferry, support, functional test, and customer demonstration flights on production and non-production aircraft
Serve as Pilot-In-Command
