About The Position

This position requires the candidate to follow work instructions, adhere to established customer guidelines, and inspect products and packaging materials at an above-average level. The role involves assembling these materials, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency expectations are met. As directed by the Line Lead, this position will coordinate some activities on the production line.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 Day Train the trainer graduate.
  • Ability to interface effectively with other departments, employees and staff.
  • Good hand/eye coordination.
  • Ability for heavy lifting.
  • Ability to step ladder.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate good judgment.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate effective initiative.
  • Good attendance is mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety is the priority. In the event a safety issue or question arises, it will take priority over everything else on the production line.
  • Read/follow work instructions, QCS’s and assemble for customer orders.
  • Follow all established guidelines.
  • Use riteTIME to report production.
  • Coordinate production line changeovers, as directed by line lead.
  • Verify raw materials are correct before use, as directed by line lead.
  • Review the MO/WO as directed by line lead.
  • Perform/coordinate line clearance activities, as directed by line lead.
  • Perform minor machine adjustments.
  • Give immediate input to line lead on Safety, Quality and Performance issues involving any part of the production line.
  • Obtain MRO supplies for the production line.
  • Assist in training new employees.
  • Contact and work with maintenance to resolve issues with equipment on the production lines, as trained.
  • Actively participate in corporate and team Continuous Improvement events and activities.
