About The Position

Idaho Forest Group is seeking a hard-working individual with attention to detail, a champion for safety, and who enjoys working as part of a team to contribute to their high-quality lumber production facility. This dynamic and fast-paced role involves serving as a relief operator for various functions, machinery, and workstations, assisting with mill clean-up until promoted, and learning the safe and efficient operation of assigned machines. The position requires comprehension and performance of all duties in accordance with rules, regulations, and job safety analyses.

Requirements

• Ability to work various shifts, days, and overtime
• Ability to use motorized equipment, hand tools (broom, shovel, etc), and an air hose
• Ability to adapt to various weather conditions, loud conditions, and airborne particles (sawdust)
• Pass a hair follicle drug test, a physical, and a background check

Nice To Haves

• A high school diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Serve as a relief operator for a wide variety of functions, machinery, and workstations
• Assist with mill clean-up until promoted into a more advanced and/or specialized role
• Learn the safe and efficient operation of each machine assigned
• Comprehend and perform all duties in accordance with rules, regulations and JSA’s (job safety analysis)
