Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing work experience
  • Must be able to follow written and oral instruction
  • Must prioritize safety in every aspect of the working environment adhering to established safety practices, policies, and procedures
  • Must be able and willing to work overtime, including short-notice requests
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, and move around for extended periods

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Coating Operator or Finishing Operator roles
  • Experience operating powered industrial vehicles (forklifts/heavy equipment)

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine setups, changeovers, and equipment adjustments to run orders to exact specification.
  • Monitor gauges, meters, and standard measuring tools (tape measures) to catch abnormalities before they create waste.
  • Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts/heavy equipment) to load, move, and ship materials across departments.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy, conduct cycle counts, and investigate mechanical issues to identify root causes.
  • Step outside daily tasks to support teammates, participate in continuous improvement, and ensure site safety.
