About The Position

Idaho Forest Group is seeking a hard-working, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious individual to join their dynamic and fast-paced lumber production facility. This entry-level role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-quality lumber production while working as part of a team. The position involves learning the safe and efficient operation of various machines and assisting with mill clean-up until promoted into a more advanced role.

Requirements

• Ability to work various shifts, days, and overtime.
• Ability to use motorized equipment, hand tools (broom, shovel, etc), and an air hose.
• Ability to adapt to various weather conditions, loud conditions, and airborne particles (sawdust).
• Ability to pass a hair follicle drug test, a physical, and a background check.

Nice To Haves

• A high school diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Serve as a relief operator for a wide variety of functions, machinery and workstations.
• Assist with mill clean-up until promoted into a more advanced and/or specialized role.
• Learn the safe and efficient operation of each machine assigned.
• Comprehend and perform all duties in accordance with rules, regulations and JSA’s (job safety analysis).
