This dynamic and fast-paced role involves serving as a relief operator for various functions, machinery, and workstations, with opportunities for advancement into more specialized roles. The ideal candidate champions safety and enjoys working as part of a team.
Requirements
- Ability to work various shifts, days, and overtime
- Ability to use motorized equipment, hand tools (broom, shovel, etc), and an air hose
- Ability to adapt to various weather conditions, loud conditions, and airborne particles (sawdust)
- Ability to pass a hair follicle drug test, a physical, and a background check
Nice To Haves
- A high school diploma or GED
Responsibilities
- Serve as a relief operator for a wide variety of function, machinery and workstations
- Assist with mill clean-up until promoted into a more advanced and/or specialized role
- Learn the safe and efficient operation of each machine assigned
- Comprehend and perform all duties in accordance with rules, regulations and JSA’s (job safety analysis)
