About The Position

This position is responsible for operating production equipment, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a clean work area. The role involves pulling work orders, operating machinery, inspecting products, packaging, and performing basic troubleshooting. The operator must adhere to production standards and assist with overtime as needed. The work environment is typically moderately noisy.

Requirements

• Basic computer usage including mouse.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions and maintenance manuals.
• Ability to perform basic addition and subtraction.
• Ability to visually inspect coding, labeling, and finished goods for defects and to match products with packaging.
• Ability to meet physical demands including sitting, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, and standing for extended periods on a concrete floor.
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry items up to 25 pounds.
• Must be available for overtime work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pull and verify work orders at the beginning of and throughout the shift.
• Operate production machinery by pouring bottles and lids into the machine.
• Inspect product for quality, including lab code, label, fill level, and cross-threads.
• Run production equipment at standard rates and perform hourly torque tests.
• Package filled bottles into trays, print and label boxes and cases.
• Clean and maintain primary production machine and work area at the end of the run.
• Perform basic troubleshooting on machinery and escalate complex issues to the Maintenance Team or Lead.
• Perform additional duties as required to meet customer needs and maintain competitiveness.
