About The Position

Cargill is hiring a Production Operator in its food ingredients and bio-industrial business. The role supports manufacturing solutions for manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice companies, with a focus on safe and sustainable operations. The operator monitors and controls processes, analyzes product samples, troubleshoots process equipment and instrumentation, and coordinates maintenance. The position also helps ensure equipment efficiency, product quality, and personnel safety. The role may also be known as Control Room Operator.

The regular schedule is Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with 10-hour shifts and a half-hour lunch. The job involves lifting up to 50 pounds. Employees must wear ankle-covering safety boots and may not wear shorts, sleeveless shirts, or jewelry, except for a silicone wedding band or medical alert bracelet. A background check and drug test are required, as is reliable transportation.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of forklift experience; forklift certification is not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Complete a background check and drug test.
• Reliable transportation.
• Wear safety boots that cover the ankle.
• Do not wear shorts, sleeveless shirts, or jewelry, except that a silicone wedding band or medical alert bracelet is allowed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control processes.
