Production Operator
About The Position
Avery Dennison is looking for a dependable Production Operator to join their manufacturing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the facility's success by operating production equipment, managing quality control inspections, and collaborating across departments to keep operations running safely and efficiently. The role is in a fast-paced environment and involves continuous improvement. The company is moving operations into a new facility in Perris, CA, and candidates must be willing to commute to/work out of the new location once the move is finalized. Candidates available to work now at the current location in Rancho Cucamonga can start onboarding and training immediately.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED OR 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications.
- Ability to stand/walk for up to 80% of a shift and safely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to obtain a Lift Truck Operator’s license.
- Flexibility to work overtime as requested.
Responsibilities
- Set up, calibrate, and operate basic manufacturing equipment and tools.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to conduct material inspections, verify product specifications, and maintain detailed quality logs.
- Participate in root-cause analysis to address quality issues and suggest process enhancements.
- Partner with team members to ensure safety protocols and 5S cleanliness standards are met.
- Actively learn multiple technical functions and fill operational gaps as production priorities shift.
