About The Position

Sizemore, Inc. is looking for a Production Operator in Statesboro, GA. The Production Operator will be responsible for performing all operations to manufacturing and assembly of high quality products. It will be essential that the Production Operator supports and integrates Sizemore’s core values of Flexibility, Improvement, Reliability, Safety and Teamwork into the daily performance of assigned responsibilities. This role requires a minimum of 1 year of manufacturing assembly experience. The pay rate is $18.00/hour for a Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm shift.

Requirements

  • High school Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
  • Experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of 1 year manufacturing assembly experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment.

  • Ability to work with minimum supervision, read/comprehend detailed instructions and process information with accuracy and clarity.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and written.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring accuracy of their own work and monitoring the quality of the previous operation.
  • Performing work according to work instructions and maintaining UPH (Units Per Hour) as required.
  • Operating equipment safely and performing all functions in the work center.
  • Troubleshooting problems and advising Team Leader/Supervisor as required.
  • Maintaining any documentation required.
  • Responsible for workplace safety and adhering to all plant safety rules.
  • Maintaining clean and orderly work centers and ensuring that concerns are brought to the attention of the appropriate personnel for action.
  • Working with others on the Team to maximize efficiency and reduce scrap/downtime within the work center.
  • Participating in training, shift and other department meetings, and attending any other type of required training or meeting.
  • Supporting departmental goals of safety, quality and cost reduction.
  • Following all prescribed work standards as written.
  • Supporting and participating in EHS objectives.
  • Driving a culture of constant improvement, identifying and implementing changes to increase productivity and efficiency of service.
  • Enforcing Sizemore’s policies and procedures as needed.
  • Performing additional duties assigned, as necessary.
