About The Position

Sese Industrial is a greenfield operation that has an immediate opening for Assembler/Production Operator. The Assembler/Production Operator will ensure the proper assembly of all components generated by Sese, following applicable work instructions and within time requirements. This role ensures the proper functioning of the operation with support from the Production Line Leader & Supervisor. The position also involves ensuring the inclusion of any obtained organizational knowledge into the QMS, meeting the production program in time and form (Just-In-Sequence-Production), and performing assembly at various workstations in accordance with procedures, in compliance with TAKT time during normal operation and ability to work in “Back Up” mode. The role requires identifying and containing defective parts or NOK, reporting incidents to the Line Leader, Quality Tech or Production Supervisor, and ensuring self-control according to defined procedures and verifying operations carried out upstream. The operator must report defects found to the team leader and place product on hold if necessary. Additionally, the role includes performing Level 1 maintenance checks, supporting teammates, participating in technical interventions, and contributing to continuous process improvement (5 S, Shop Floor Management). The operator must perform assigned tasks in quality and in time, maintain order and cleanliness of their position and its environment, and respect "quality and environment" procedures and the rules of health and safety. Learning and qualifying in multiple operations, contributing to the training of new hires, and accounting for incidents by filling out pre-printed documents are also key aspects of the role. Ensuring the implementation of good practices and promoting and implementing continuous improvement in the production process by coming up with 1.5 ideas or more are expected. Additional responsibilities and activities may be added on a need basis, as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • GED or High School Diploma (associate degree or higher preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment.
  • Ability to work within a team.
  • High tolerance towards working under pressure.
  • Personal judgment and independency to take actions.
  • Qualified in Assembly Line Operations
  • High motivation to confront challenges and changes.
  • Conditioned independency (following process rules, norms and company policy).
  • Oral and written ability to understand instructions.
  • Dexterity - sense of Visual control – team
  • Must be able to distinguish red/green/blue colors.
  • Must complete and receive passing scores for all pre-employment training.
  • Logical-analytical thinking: Ability to make decisions that could affect the company.
  • Become aware of the Sese Quality Program.
  • Order and cleanliness of their area and its environment.
  • Respect and communicate "quality and environment" as well as the rules of health and safety.
  • Versatility on the workstations in several areas.

  • Able to lift 25 lbs. repeatedly.
  • Able to stand for 10+ hours per day.
  • Able to pass drug screen and background check.
