3rd Shift Production Operator

About The Position

The Production Operator performs necessary duties and operates equipment safely, sanitarily, and productively to produce quality products. The role involves handling raw product, filling and verifying containers, labeling, packaging, and moving finished product. The operator also cleans and sanitizes equipment, reports possible maintenance needs, follows company policies and manufacturing procedures, and performs other duties assigned by a supervisor or management. This position is scheduled for the third shift, 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, with overtime as needed on Fridays. Pay is $22.05 per hour plus a $1.25-per-hour shift differential.

Requirements

Able to stand for long periods.
Able to work in an assembly-line environment.
Physically able to lift 55 pounds continuously.
Able to work overtime when needed.
Able to read and understand instructions.
Basic computer skills.
Able to maintain a forklift license.

Responsibilities

Safely operate assigned equipment.
Scan and dump raw product into processing equipment.
Fill containers and verify product weights meet required specifications.
Operate labeling equipment and place bands or seals on containers.
Package and stack finished product containers for shipping, using pallets as required.
Operate a forklift to move product safely.
Clean and sanitize equipment as necessary.
Observe and report possible equipment maintenance needs to a supervisor.
Follow Century Foods International policies, safety rules, Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and ISO 9001 procedures.
Assist with other duties assigned by a supervisor or management.
