Where You’ll Make a Difference Operate production equipment and systems to support enzyme manufacturing. Monitor processes through the Delta V control system to ensure safe and efficient operation. Perform troubleshooting and resolve basic mechanical or process-related issues. Execute routine inspections, adjustments, and equipment upkeep to maintain production reliability. Collect, record, and analyze process data to support continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate closely with engineers and cross‑functional teams to optimize production runs. Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory standards required in a biotech manufacturing environment. Support batch preparation, material handling, and documentation according to GMP standards. Communicate effectively with team members across day and night shifts to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED (required).
  • 2+ years of experience in a mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing plant environment.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computers and MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Capacity to lift 55 pounds and handle the physical aspects of plant work.
  • Willingness to complete pre-employment drug screening and background checks.

Nice To Haves

  • A.A./B.S. degree in a scientific, technical, or related field (preferred).
  • Experience in chemical, biotech, or enzyme manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with Distributed Control Systems (DCS), ideally Delta V.
  • Background in working under GMP, quality, or regulated production standards.
