In one of our manufacturing roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. You will be maintaining equipment associated with the production, packaging and distribution of Kimberly-Clark products through preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance work. This role is part of Kimberly-Clark’s investment in creating new jobs and expanding its capabilities to produce premium products that are essential to millions of lives around the world, and right here in Maumelle.

Requirements

• 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States
• State and/or US Department of Education accredited high school diploma, GED Grade 12 certificate
• 1+ years of continuous work experience
• Basic computer knowledge, mechanical aptitude and good math skills
• Able to maintain a work schedule of 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime
• Can pass a pre-employment assessment and a pre-employment drug + background screening
• Can pass post-offer / pre-hire Physical Abilities Test (PAT)
• Demonstrated prior experience with a focus on working safely and hazard recognition
• Ability to learn and regularly utilize mill computer systems such as: Production MRP System (SAP), Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, PIMS, etc.
• Mechanical aptitude troubleshooting, disassembling equipment, parts replacement, general machine repair.

• Demonstrated performance in safety, quality, and attendance with previous employments
• 3+ years of work experience

Responsibilities

• Running technologically advanced, high-speed manufacturing equipment and collaborating with new or junior team members to do their best work safely.
• Working in a safe manner to consistently identify and correct unsafe acts and conditions, which may include operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Utilizing problem solving and decision-making skills to establish proficiency in operating and making machine adjustments required to achieve and control high quality material standards.
• Actively participating in a self-directed work team system, including providing meaningful feedback to build participation and engagement with team members.
• Documenting, accounting for, and completing daily performance metrics in both verbal and written formats.
• Identifying machine faults and variations in runtime stability.
• Ensuring that quality tests are done correctly and in a timely manner, and documents are maintained as required.
• Accountable for total productive maintenance support including equipment reliability, planned downs, and lubrication tasks.
• Accountable for continued individual development of skills including opportunities for special assignments, maintenance and troubleshooting tasks, and advanced technical tasks.
