You will be maintaining equipment associated with the production, packaging and distribution of Kimberly-Clark products through preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance work. This role is part of Kimberly-Clark’s investment in creating new jobs and expanding its capabilities to produce premium products that are essential to millions of lives around the world, and right here in Maumelle.

Requirements

  • 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States
  • State and/or US Department of Education accredited high school diploma, GED Grade 12 certificate
  • 1+ years of continuous work experience
  • Basic computer knowledge, mechanical aptitude and good math skills
  • Able to maintain a work schedule of 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime
  • Can pass a pre-employment assessment and a pre-employment drug + background screening
  • Can pass post-offer / pre-hire Physical Abilities Test (PAT)
  • Demonstrated prior experience with a focus on working safely and hazard recognition
  • Ability to learn and regularly utilize mill computer systems such as: Production MRP System (SAP), Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, PIMS, etc.
  • Mechanical aptitude troubleshooting, disassembling equipment, parts replacement, general machine repair.

Responsibilities

  • Running technologically advanced, high-speed manufacturing equipment and collaborating with new or junior team members to do their best work safely.
  • Working in a safe manner to consistently identify and correct unsafe acts and conditions, which may include operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes.
  • Utilizing problem solving and decision-making skills to establish proficiency in operating and making machine adjustments required to achieve and control high quality material standards.
  • Actively participating in a self-directed work team system, including providing meaningful feedback to build participation and engagement with team members.
  • Documenting, accounting for, and completing daily performance metrics in both verbal and written formats.
  • Identifying machine faults and variations in runtime stability.
  • Ensuring that quality tests are done correctly and in a timely manner, and documents are maintained as required.
  • Accountable for total productive maintenance support including equipment reliability, planned downs, and lubrication tasks.
  • Accountable for continued individual development of skills including opportunities for special assignments, maintenance and troubleshooting tasks, and advanced technical tasks.
