About The Position

Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, now part of Froneri, is seeking a Production Operator to support its accelerated growth and transformation initiatives. This role is crucial for achieving production targets through effective teamwork, understanding machinery, and ensuring high standards of Quality, Safety, Hygiene, and Waste management. The operator will be responsible for maintaining clean and organized work areas, adhering to standard operating procedures, and ensuring products meet customer specifications. This is an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a focus on innovation and delivering the best ice cream experience.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Aptitude for automated mechanical processes with good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, math, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work multiple shifts and/or schedules.
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future.

Nice To Haves

• One year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure assigned areas are clean, organized, and operating under discipline.
• Operate according to standard operating procedures in the assigned area.
• Ensure limited water usage during cleaning, following the “clean as you go” principle.
• Complete effective handovers with the next shift.
• Drive the production process to ensure products meet customer specifications, quality, and food safety standards.
• Ensure production meets targeted outputs through effective control of the manufacturing process.
• Communicate effectively with the entire team.
• Ensure health and safety requirements are fully met and a positive safety culture is maintained throughout the line.
• Walk the talk by using "looking eyes" and attending to issues as they happen.
• Represent The Froneri Way of working through behaviors and characteristics in the Operating Model and Core Values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
