Requirements

• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of production experience.
• Good verbal, written and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift at least fifty pounds.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety and OSHA guidelines.
• Follow all regulations and procedures as specified by USDA, FDA, DEQ, and Ariake, including HACCP, SSOP’s, GMP’s, and Master Cleaning Schedule.
• Be productive and follow the standard operating times.
• Keep all areas clean, including discarding rubber bands, emptying trash receptacles, and cleaning floors.
• Make the highest quality product possible.
• Complete assigned paperwork on a timely basis.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Document and report any concerns to your supervisor.
• Assist other operators in the production department as time permits to promote Teamwork and make processing run more efficiently.
• Perform tasks as required by management.
• Pick and stage materials for scheduled production jobs.
• Clean utensils to ensure there is no cross contamination.
• Maintain organized and clutter-free partial ingredient storage area.
• Ensure printed labels (Material/Batch) are placed on all bags and boxes, and handwritten weights are on all bags and boxes.
• Keep an accurate inventory of the Dispensary and maintain accurate product inventory.
• Clean up trash or empty pallets from warehouse, cooler, etc.
