Requirements

  • High School or GED equivalent.
  • Perform final assembly of units per assembly instructions.
  • Verify kits for correct part numbers and quantities.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing assembly and equipment.
  • Must be able to read and write English.
  • Ability to understand work process to achieve consistent results.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work with an awareness of safety for yourself and others.
  • Must be willing and able to work any shift, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
  • Must be willing and able to work overtime as needed.
  • Must be willing and able to wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment as required by specific job.
  • Must be willing to sign a confidentiality agreement as a condition of employment.
  • Must be willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Ability to pass a background investigation, including but not limited to personal and professional financial history, nationwide criminal record search, credit check, and other relevant background information deemed necessary by WDC.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience operating material handling equipment (i.e. hand trucks, pallet jacks, and/or forklifts preferred).
  • Experience using a computer for record-keeping and documentation functions preferred.
  • Prior knowledge or experience working with a Native American Tribe.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble finished product using sub-assemblies, parts, and fasteners.
  • Assist in troubleshooting product, non-conformances, and resolving production problems.
  • Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guideline, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct daily maintenance of tools, fixtures, and workstations.
  • Identify safety issues to management.
  • Meet or exceed safety, production, and quality goals.
  • Turn in tools for calibration.
  • Make part transactions in material systems (Plex).
  • Perform total quality checks.
  • Participate in product first article inspections when needed.
  • Collect process data on check sheets or other quality data sheets.
  • Assist in the creation of process tools, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Follow strict procedures for ESD.
  • Read and interpret assembly instructions.
  • Monitor calibration and expiration dates of equipment and chemicals.
  • Perform all other duties assigned.
  • Keep work area clean throughout shift.
