About The Position

The Production Operator is responsible for operating machinery, assembling parts, and ensuring the quality of manufactured goods. This role involves physical exertion, including lifting and intermittent standing or walking. The operator will use various hand tools and equipment to assemble and inspect parts, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Intermittent standing or walking required.
• Ability to use hand tools and devices.
• Visual inspection skills for quality control.

Nice To Haves

• Experience using a "lift assist" to transfer parts.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery such as punch presses or welders.
• Place metal or steel parts on fixtures.
• Remove parts from fixtures or conveyors and place them in racks or on other conveyors.
• Use hand tools, lubricants, and other devices for assembly.
• Visually inspect work for defects and ensure part quality.
• Attach bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners.
• Lift moderately light to heavy material, up to 50 pounds.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Perform other assigned duties to ensure product, process, and work environment effectiveness, efficiency, and quality.
