About The Position
The Production Operator role involves operating machinery such as punch presses and welders, assembling parts and sub-assemblies, and ensuring the quality of manufactured components. This position requires physical exertion, including lifting up to 50 pounds and intermittent standing or walking. Operators are responsible for visual inspection of parts for defects and maintaining a clean work environment.

Responsibilities
- Operate a punch press or welder using a palm stand.
- Place metal or steel parts on a fixture.
- Remove parts from fixtures or conveyors and place them in racks or on other conveyors.
- Use hand tools, lubricants, and other devices for safe assembly of parts and sub-assemblies.
- Visually check work for defects and ensure the quality of manufactured parts.
- Attach bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners to a fixture.
- Perform occasional lifting of moderately light to heavy material.
- Lift material or manufactured parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Engage in intermittent standing or walking.
- Use a lift assist to transfer parts to another station if required.
- Perform assigned housekeeping duties.
- Perform any other assigned duties to ensure the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of products, processes, and the work environment.
