The Production Operator reports to the Manufacturing/Packaging Supervisor and is responsible for following written and/or verbal instructions, setting up plant equipment correctly for operation, organizing work to achieve daily production schedules with no errors or deficiencies, adhering to all Standard Operating Procedures, Safety Policies, Company Policies and Procedures, and cGMP guidelines, and effectively using time to meet company goals and objectives. This role involves participating in daily meetings, understanding instructions, organizing manufacturing steps for safe and effective product production, and following all relevant documentation such as Batch Records, Inventory Sheets, and Log Books. The operator will also follow SOPs related to equipment, products, and processes, transport raw materials, check and calculate quantities, perform equipment set-up and adjustments, operate and clean equipment according to cGMP guidelines and SOPs, clean rooms, perform basic maintenance, and document all work accurately. They are expected to consistently check their work for accuracy, identify and report discrepancies, train new employees as needed, and maintain regular attendance. Operators will wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including hair nets, beard covers, face masks, respirators, uniforms, safety shoes, and safety glasses. The role may involve exposure to various allergens and requires effective communication and a positive work environment. Other assigned duties and instructions from the supervisor must also be followed.
