The Production Operator reports to the Manufacturing/Packaging Supervisor and is responsible for following written and/or verbal instructions to set up plant equipment correctly for operation, organize work to achieve daily production schedules with no errors or deficiencies, follow and adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures, Safety Policies, Company Policies and Procedures, cGMP guidelines, and effectively use time to meet company goals and objectives. This role involves participating in daily meetings, understanding instructions, organizing manufacturing steps, and following all documentation related to production. The operator will also perform equipment setup, adjustments, operation, and cleaning according to cGMP guidelines and SOPs. Basic maintenance duties, room and equipment cleaning, and accurate documentation are key aspects of this role. The operator must consistently check work for accuracy, identify and report discrepancies, and may be responsible for training new employees. Regular attendance is required, and the operator will wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Communication and teamwork are essential, and the role may involve exposure to various allergens. The position requires the ability to lift and transport raw materials weighing a minimum of 50lbs using appropriate lifting techniques, check and calculate raw material quantities, and perform other assigned duties as instructed.
