About The Position

Nutra Blend manufactures and distributes vitamin, trace mineral, micro-ingredient, and antibiotic premixes for the feed industry. The Production Operator performs manufacturing processes that add value and quality to inputs and produce finished products. Duties may vary across operator classifications and may include receiving and handling raw materials, processing materials through proprietary operations, or packaging finished products. Safety, attention to detail, quality, sanitation, and efficiency are essential throughout production.

Requirements

At least 6 months of manufacturing experience.
Basic computer skills.
Be at least 18 years old.
Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to use logic and reasoning to assess alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
Commitment to maintaining personal and coworker safety.
Time-management skills, including reliability, meeting deadlines, and adapting to changing priorities with minimal supervision.
Ability to work well with others toward team goals and adjust to important changes.
Ability to understand how new information applies to current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
Active listening skills, including understanding others, taking time to consider their points, and asking questions as appropriate.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to perform frequent movements including walking, standing, bending or stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, and climbing.
Ability to perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
Ability to work for extended periods across temperature zones that may include cold or hot environments and areas with dust.
Successful completion of a post-offer pre-employment background check and pre-employment substance abuse testing.
