About The Position

This onsite role is based at Barlean’s Ferndale, Washington facility and works Monday through Thursday from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM. The Production Operator joins the Production Team and operates equipment efficiently while following the run schedule assigned by the team leader. Duties may include operating machinery, assembling materials or equipment, conducting inspections and quality control, and assisting with raw material loading and unloading. The position also performs other duties assigned by a supervisor and supports a safe, positive, and productive work environment.

Requirements

High school graduation or equivalent is preferred.
Ability to operate equipment efficiently and effectively.
Attention to detail and ability to follow documentation-oriented processes.
Self-starter with follow-through and a task-oriented approach.
Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, and climb ladders and stairs.
Mechanical aptitude.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds unassisted.
Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information in English.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

Operate equipment to assist in the production process and follow the run schedule assigned by the team leader.
Assemble materials and equipment as required.
Inspect finished products for defects and ensure quality standards are met.
Assist in loading and unloading raw materials.
Communicate with coworkers to support efficient production and meet deadlines.
Support continuous process improvement efforts.
Support other departments as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Follow safety, GMP, and sanitation protocols, including use of personal protective equipment.
