About The Position

The Production Operator operates and supports production packaging and processing equipment, sanitation and quality activities, and warehouse operations. The role helps maintain throughput, product quality, and safety standards while supporting production goals and continuous improvement across the plant. The position reports to the Operations Manager and is located in Centralia, Illinois. The shift is 11:45 PM–8:15 AM, with an hourly rate of $21.25 plus a $1.00 shift differential. The manufacturing environment may have high noise levels and varying temperatures. Essential physical tasks may include standing and walking around the facility, climbing stairs or ladders, kneeling for extended periods, repetitive work, and frequently lifting, pushing, or carrying materials. Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement.
Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as business needs require.

Responsibilities

Operate assigned production equipment and support packaging, processing, sanitation, quality, and warehouse operations to achieve daily production goals.
Partner with Line Leads to support team cross-training, skill development, and operational flexibility.
Follow Job Element Sheets and standard operating procedures while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Participate in cleaning, sanitation, and audit activities to ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and operational requirements.
Communicate and collaborate with Line Leads, Maintenance, and other shifts to resolve equipment issues, ensure effective handoffs, and drive plant performance.
Complete additional duties, projects, and responsibilities as assigned by the Shift Supervisor or Operations Manager.
