About The Position

Alumi-Cover is seeking a dependable and motivated Production Operator to support its manufacturing operations. The role involves operating production equipment, performing assembly and fabrication activities, handling materials, conducting quality inspections, and assisting with light welding and equipment setup. It is hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with an emphasis on producing quality products.

Requirements

• Basic MIG welding experience is required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Ability to read measurements, blueprints, and production documents.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Manufacturing, production, fabrication, or welding experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred, or willingness to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Perform basic MIG welding, fabrication, assembly, grinding, and cutting tasks.
• Read and follow work orders, production schedules, and fabrication drawings.
• Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Assist with equipment setup, adjustments, and minor troubleshooting.
• Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Maintain inventory organization and accurate material-handling practices.
• Support housekeeping, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with production, shipping, maintenance, and management teams.
