The Production Operator sets up, loads, and operates production machines, making adjustments to ensure products meet required specifications. Operators may work in Spooling, Stranding, or Closing and are responsible for their own safety and the safety of others around the machines. The position works under the direct supervision of a Production Supervisor, with technical oversight from Process Engineering and Quality. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m., and Thursday and Friday from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. The operator may need to train on the day shift for 3–4 weeks (Monday–Thursday, 5 a.m.–3 p.m.) or the weekend shift (Friday–Sunday, 5 a.m.–5 p.m.). Compensation is $20.61 per hour, plus a $1.50 shift differential and monthly incentive payments based on operational metrics after the 90-day probationary period is complete. Monthly incentives may be available after the probationary training period. The role involves working in manufacturing, warehouse, dock, and shipping environments with varying temperatures and noise levels. Operators use required personal protective equipment and must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction and at least 18 years old. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a post-offer background check and required pre-employment screenings, including a drug screening and physical examination. A criminal conviction does not automatically disqualify an applicant.
