About The Position
Our Hoosier location at Plymouth, IN is seeking Production Operators, Mixing Technicians, and Final Finish Operators to join our team! As a Production Operator with Hoosier Racing Tire, you have the opportunity to be hired and train for a variety of different roles! Our roles include: Band Builder, Calendar Operator, Mixing Operator, Final Finish Operator, Press Operator, and Many More!
Requirements
- Ability to follow instructions written in standard English.
- Must be able to work overtime, as needed.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to bend, climb, squat, crawl, reach and twist frequently.
- Ability to lift 20-75 lbs. frequently and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
- Continental is not able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity.

Responsibilities
- Measuring material length, width, and quality to ensure our product meets customer specifications.
- Read specifications, use hand tools, and gauging devices to monitor current and ongoing product quality.
- Reacting quickly to equipment downtime or other extraordinary condition, and notifying team lead whenever such conditions occur.
- Keeping work areas neat, clean, and orderly in order to maintain a safe work environment.
- Follow standard practices and perform all work necessary to promptly and accurately obtain quality and quantity production.
- Follow all plant Safety and environmental policies.
