About The Position

We are seeking an experienced 5-Axis CNC Production Operator to join our team and play a critical role in producing high-precision components. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and hands-on experience operating advanced CNC machinery. This role is located in Grand Prairie, TX, and offers a pay rate of $28.44 per hour for the 1st shift (5:00 AM - 1:30 PM). Please note that due to ITAR regulations, only U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, and political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply. Requirements

  • Proven experience operating 5-axis CNC machines in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of CNC programming, tooling, and machining processes
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
  • Experience with quality inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen, Green Card holder, or political asylee/refugee due to ITAR regulations
  • Must provide specific forms of identification (Passport, Birth Certificate, Certificate of Naturalization, or Permanent Resident Card) as part of the application

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Zimmermann 5-axis CNC machines (strongly preferred)
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM software
  • Background in precision machining, aerospace, automotive, or similar industries

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and monitor 5-axis CNC machines to manufacture precision parts to specification
  • Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models
  • Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and materials for each job
  • Load, edit, and verify CNC programs as needed
  • Perform in-process and final quality inspections using measuring tools and equipment
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance
  • Conduct routine maintenance and ensure machines are operating efficiently
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, programmers, and team members to improve processes and outcomes
