About The Position

embecta is hiring Production Operators for its advanced Holdrege manufacturing facility, which produces insulin delivery syringes and operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Operators work in Molding, Assembly, Packaging, or Warehouse, setting up and operating relevant machines and equipment to mold, assemble, and package insulin syringes. They inspect products, perform in-process quality checks, complete inspection and quality documentation, move materials and finished products as needed, monitor equipment output, and help resolve issues. The role is performed in a highly regulated medical device facility, where accurate documentation, product quality, and safety are essential. Operators work collaboratively with a team and wear required personal protective equipment and safety shoes.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of experience working with or fixing manufacturing equipment.
Excellent attention to detail when reading and completing product quality checks and documentation.
Comfort using computers and basic software such as Microsoft Office.
Good communication skills and a team-first attitude.
Reliability, organization, and willingness to learn.
A strong focus on safety in daily work and decision-making.

Responsibilities

Wear the required personal protective equipment and safety shoes.
Check in with the team and review shift goals.
Set up and operate relevant manufacturing machines and equipment in Molding, Assembly, Packaging, or Warehouse.
Inspect products and perform in-process checks to ensure they meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Complete inspection and quality documentation accurately.
Move raw material supplies and finished products to appropriate locations as needed.
Monitor equipment output and identify issues.
Help troubleshoot and resolve equipment or production issues efficiently.
Work collaboratively to maintain smooth and safe operations, prioritizing safety.
