About The Position

As a Production Operator, you will follow specified work instructions and/or engineering parts drawings to assemble a wide variety of products. You will be responsible for the quality of your work, and meeting production standards. You will continually look for ways to improve our production processes and make Safety your #1 priority every day. This position is based at our Jackson, TN location and reports directly to the area Supervisor.

Requirements

High School Graduate or GED.
1+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
Ability to read and comprehend industrial blueprints.
Must possess the ability to use tools and equipment that are needed to perform the assembly operations in an industrial setting.
Must have good listening and communication skills.
Able to work well with others and to be a good team player.

Responsibilities

Assemble or disassemble on a production line.
Assist or train in multiple work cells.
Follow specified work instructions to assemble and test as required.
Follow applicable procedures.
Keep work area clean and in order.
Follow all company Safety procedures and guidelines.
Report malfunction of equipment and process deviations to appropriate personnel.
Perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
